These smaller versions of the traditional Biscornu pincushion feature decorative Sashiko stitching, a technique also used for visible mending and reinforcing old fabrics—perfectly aligning with my zero-waste approach! Made from pure linen pieces with a Linara brushed cotton base, they are filled with crushed walnut shells to keep needles and pins sharp, along with eco-friendly fabric waste from my workshop. Each one is finished with a button from my treasured vintage collection.
